Perron-Beauvineau
Perron-Beauvineau Cuvée Abraham, Vieilles Vignes, Millésime 2004
2004
A rare, small-production prestige cuvée composed of 34% Pinot Noir, 33% Chardonnay and 33% Pinot Meunier, from vines averaging 46 and a half years old, grown on the clay-limestone, Kimmeridgian soils of the Côte des Bar — entirely from the 2004 harvest. Named for Abraham, the family's first recorded vigneron in the early 17th century, it shows cherry eau-de-vie and Williams pear with a touch of green pepper and undergrowth, unfolding into white fruit, pear and mirabelle on the palate. Launched in November 2014, it has since been awarded a medal at the Merano Wine Festival (2025), starred in the Guide Hachette 2016, featured in Sommeliers International's Winter 2017 Champagne special, and recognised by the Guide Dussert-Gerber 2020.
